If you are looking for a window that has a more period and heritage look or for windows that have the appearance of smaller individual panes of glass, there are two options: Astragal Bars and Georgian Bars.

With the Astragal Bars, the glass is specially made with spacer inserts (see picture below). The astragal bars are fixed to the exterior of the glass and the spacer bars inside the glass then gives the appearance of separate panes.

Astragal bars are more expensive than Georgian Bars.
